(Sylvanus^6, Cornelius^5, Paul^4, Garret^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 Jeppes), was b. 27 September 1852, and d. 1 December 1908 Belleville, Ont., CAN. He m. Jennie Brooks (b. 21 January 1863 and d. 1942). Lorenzo is listed as a fisherman from Brighton in the Ontario 1871 census data. Lorenzo, his wife, and three of his children are buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brighton, Ontario. When Jennie died, she bequeathed her estate to daughter, Flossie M. Arkles from Brighton, Ontario, son Clarence from Rochester, NY, son Lewis R. from Brighton and son Burton of Toronto. She purchased the family plot at Mount Hope Cemetery. In 1930, Jennie was living with her son, Clarence in Rochester, NY.

Children: Flossie^8 Mabel Van Wicklin (b. 6 October 1881, d. 1970, bur. Mt. Hope, Brighton, Ont.) m. Carmen A. Baker, a gardener (b. 1879, Ameliasburg, d. 1931) on 14 August 1901. Carmeh is s/o Corey and Alysa (Alyes) Baker. Flossie and Carmen had one son, Russell who m. Rita and they had one daughter, Elaine; Clarence^8 Oral Van Wicklin was b. 10 June 1883 Brighton, Ontario, Canada and d. September 1969. He m. on 28 November 1906 in Trenton, Ontario to Maude ____ and divorced. No children. Clarence taught high school in Brighton and later moved to Rochester, NY and opened his own restaurant. Lewis^8 R. Van Wicklin was b. 15 March 1885, Brighton, Ontario and d. 1964. Lewis m. Blanche Sturmey (b. 1889 and d. 1961). Blanche is d/o Fannie Cross and sister of Burneda Sturmey, both of Flint, Michigan. Lewis and Blanche had no children. Lewis owned a grocery store in Brighton village. Dorcie^8 May Van Wicklin was b. 22 December 1887, Brighton, Ontario and d. 25 June 1892 at the age of 5; Burton^8 Maxwell Van Wicklin was b. 15 September 1890, Brighton, Ontario and d. 28 March 1959. Burton m. on 26 May 1907 in Trenton, Ontario to Ida May Williams (b. 5 October 1890). They had two children: Howard^9 Lewis Oral Van Wicklin and Florence^9 Ellen May Van Wicklin. Burton, Ida, Howard and Florence are buried at Park Lawn Cemetery, Bloor Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

They were roomers in household of Fred Burgess, 31, Ava Burgess, 32, and their daughter, Julia N. Burgess, 2 on Draper Street.

WWI Draft Registration Card 1917-1918 lists Clarence Oral Van Wicklin of 31 Draper Street, Rochester, NY, b. 10 June 1882, CAN with occupation of cook for F. Allard of Rochester, NY, mother is Jennie Van Wicklin. He is of medium height and build with grey eyes and brown hair.
